Lafayette Bar Association

Welcome to our team page for the 2021 Food from the Bar campaign!

We are proud to join with the Lafayette Bar Association and support the inaugural Food from the Bar Campaign in Acadiana. This campaign is part of a food drive by legal communities across the country, in which participants raise funds for and donate food to local food banks.

Second Harvest is providing relief in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that children, families, and seniors have enough to eat.

Since March, 2020, Second Harvest has distributed 50+ million meals, a 75% increase from the previous year. Our Community Kitchen has increased capacity and provided more than 1 million hot and frozen meals to seniors, children, the newly unemployed and homeless individuals and families. Second Harvest opened a Community Kitchen on Lafayette to better serve Acadiana and Southwest Louisiana.

Second Harvest is still also responding to the devastation caused by Hurricanes Laura, Delta and Zeta. Our neighbors impacted by the storms will continue to need help as they face the long road to recovery.

You can help us fight hunger. You can make a difference.

Thank you for joining us to support Second Harvest!
