LSU Health New Orleans

Join LSU Health New Orleans in raising funds for Second Harvest Food Bank to “Give Hope at the Holidays” for the hungry in our communities, so they can have access to healthy foods year-round.

Many of our neighbors struggle with hunger every day. They could be our friends, kids in our children’s classes, coworkers, or even our own family members. Currently one in six people in Louisiana suffers from hunger -- nearly 400,000 people, including 135,600 children,  in Second Harvest's 23-parish service area alone.

Second Harvest helps by providing food access through a network of 650+ partner agencies in 23 parishes across South Louisiana. Last year, they provided enough food for more than 32 million meals for children, seniors, and families in need.

In order to fully meet all the needs in South Louisiana, it’s estimated that 70 million meals are required EACH YEAR.

During this season of giving, YOU can help provide meals to more people in need. Please donate today and let’s “Give Hope” year-round to those who need it most. Together, we can end hunger in South Louisiana. LSU Health New Orleans is raising funds for Second Harvest Food Bank to “Give Hope at the Holidays” for the hungry in our communities, so they can have access to healthy foods year-round.
